Kanmi Akinkoye

Kanmi Akinkoye is a seasoned Global Program Manager with over 16 years of federal government experience, focusing on risk management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning. They began their career as a Probation Officer, supervising high-risk offenders and implementing initiatives to enhance public safety. Kanmi later worked at the FBI, where they managed investigations into financial crimes and oversaw multimillion-dollar contracts, ultimately leading to significant improvements in operational efficiency and compliance. Currently, at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Kanmi directs cross-functional programs that minimize risk exposure and improve compliance across a large workforce. Kanmi holds an MBA and a Master’s in Acquisition and Supply Chain Management from the University of Maryland.
