Michael Tito

Michael Tito currently serves as a Director at Control Risks since January 2022, with a background in crisis management including roles as Crisis Manager at Pfizer and Global Crisis Management Program Manager at Meta. Prior to this, Michael worked as an Emergency Management Specialist and Primary Staff Assistant to the Mayor of Charleston from February 2018 to January 2022. Experience also includes serving as Director of Southeast Operations and Ship Agent at K3 Maritime Agency, Inc. from June 2014 to January 2018, and an internship with the United States Senate in early 2014. Michael's earlier career includes a legal internship with the State of New Jersey and service as an Airman in the U.S. Coast Guard from 2008 to 2011. Academically, Michael holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Project Management from The Citadel and a degree in Political Science, International Relations and Affairs from the College of Charleston.
