Paul began their academic journey at Kishwaukee College from 1989 to 1991, where they attained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Pre-Engineering. Following this, from 1992 to 1993, they attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, focusing on Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, although they did not complete a degree during this time. Paul then proceeded to Northern Illinois University, where they pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1994 to 1998. Lastly, in 2021, they enrolled in Capella University and successfully obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
