David Severcool

David Severcool is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in network and server infrastructure, security, and system administration. Currently serving as the Manager of IT Infrastructure and Security at Control Southern since August 2014, David has a strong background in managing Cisco switches, CheckPoint Firewalls, server hardware, and virtualization technologies. David's prior roles include Systems Engineer/Project Manager and Network Administrator at Hitachi Power Tools, where expertise in MS Exchange Server and Active Directory integration was developed. Starting as a Desktop Support Technician at Hitachi Koki USA LTD., David has built a comprehensive skill set in IT support and systems management, complemented by an Associate's degree in Network and System Administration from Dekalb Technical College and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. David is also Network+ Certified.
