Petteri Torniainen

Petteri Torniainen currently serves as the CEO and COB at Control Union Finland Oy since October 2023, while also holding roles as Manager and Managing Director at Control Union since September 2020 and as COB and Managing Director at Finotrol Oy since 2010. Previous experience includes working as an Inspection Engineer at Inspecta Certification from October 2006 to December 2009 and as a Project Manager at Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences from August 1998 to October 2006. Petteri Torniainen holds two advanced degrees from Luleå University of Technology: a Doctor of Technology in Wood Physics, Wood Science, and Engineering, and a Doctor of Science in Wood Science and Wood Products/Pulp and Paper Technology.
