Trausti Thormundsson

Trausti Thormundsson is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and management, currently serving as co-CEO and Member of the Board of Directors at Controlant since January 2007, a company Trausti co-founded specializing in Cold Chain monitoring services. Trausti's prior roles include Director of Hardware Engineering at Google and Vice President & General Manager of Audio at Synaptics Incorporated, where responsibilities encompassed strategy, marketing, R&D, and P&L management. With a foundational tenure as Chief Technology Officer at Conexant, Trausti guided technical due diligence during a significant acquisition and played a pivotal role in corporate restructuring post-bankruptcy. An academic contributor, Trausti also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Iceland, teaching courses in Engineering. Trausti holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a C.Sc in Electronic Engineering from Háskóli Íslands.
