Sanjay Shanmugaum

Sanjay Shanmugaum has over two decades of experience in various leadership roles in HR and administration. Sanjay currently serves as the Global Head and Vice President of HR & Admin at ControlCase. Prior to this, they were the Chief Executive Officer and CHRO at Fundnow, where they played a key role in setting up and growing a fintech startup. Sanjay also worked as a Senior Advisor in HR Services at Aeries Technology Group and as the Vice President of HR & Admin at MModal (formerly CBay Systems), where they managed the HR function across multiple offices and played a crucial role in the company's growth. Sanjay has also held positions at Global eProcure, JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America (formerly Countrywide Financial), Sutherland Global Services, Euro RSCG, and Tata NYK Shipping Pte. Ltd. Throughout their career, Sanjay has demonstrated expertise in mergers and acquisitions, organizational development, and optimizing HR practices and processes.

Sanjay Shanmugaum has an MBA in Human Resources from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), which they completed from 1997 to 2000. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (DPMIR) from the same institute from 1994 to 1995. In 1993, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a specialization in Psychology from National College. Sanjay also holds a Diploma in Electronics from Patuck Polytechnic, Mumbai, which they completed from 1989 to 1991. Additionally, they are qualified as a SET (State Eligibility Test) in Management by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in 2021. Sanjay has also received a GNIIT certification in Software and QMS from NIIT Institute. Sanjay attended St. Anthony's High School, Vakola, for their SSC (Secondary School Certificate). Finally, they completed a Diploma in Training & Development from The Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD).
