Porter Schutz has a diverse work experience spanning from 2003 to 2018. Porter co-founded ControlZee in 2016 and held the roles of Co-Founder & Director from June 2018. Prior to that, they were Co-Founder & CEO from April 2016 to June 2018. Before ControlZee, they worked at Linden Lab starting in 2012, where they held multiple roles including Team Lead, Content Pipeline (June 2014 to July 2015), Senior Software Engineer (November 2013 to July 2015), and Software Engineer (July 2012 to November 2013). Porter also worked at CCP, starting in 2010, where they served as Associate Programmer (November 2011 to July 2012) and Associate QA Engineer (May 2010 to November 2011). Prior to CCP, they were a QA Engineering Intern at CCP in 2008. Additionally, they worked as a Junior Programmer at Leviathan Games in 2007. Porter began their career as part of the Squeezed Project at the University of Denver in 2006, holding various roles. Porter also had a technology internship at CenterStone Technologies from May 2003 to September 2005.

Porter Schutz attended the University of Denver from 2004 to 2009 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
