Raymond Poitras has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Raymond started their career in 1989 as the founder and CEO of Raymus Inc, where they developed and created a video editing software. Afterwards, they worked at Leitch Technology International and Harris Corporation as the Manager of the Quebec satellite office in R&D. In 2007, they joined Harris Corporation's Broadcast Communication division, where they served as a Senior Manager for various projects, including resolving issues for large clients and managing software development teams in both Russia and the US. From 2013 to 2015, Raymond took a sabbatical from work. After that, they held senior software development positions at mxtools, OpenIO, TandemLaunch Inc., and CONTXTFUL. Their roles in these companies primarily focused on software development and implementation. Overall, Raymond Poitras has extensive experience in software development, project management, and resolving issues for large clients.
Raymond Poitras attended École Polytechnique de Montréal from 1981 to 1985, where they pursued a Baccalauréat in Génie électrique with a specialization in informatique (computer science).
