Rowland Wallenius

Rowland Wallenius has extensive work experience in various financial and consulting roles. Starting in 1997, they worked as a Corporate Controller for Thermo Tech Technologies Inc. In 1999, they became the President and CFO of Planet Earth Recycling Inc, where they successfully managed the organization and generated significant annual revenue. From 2001 to 2005, they served as an Accounting and Management Executive for Organic Recycling Technologies Inc. In 2005, they worked as a Controller for the Augusta Group of Companies. From 2006 to 2012, they held the position of CFO for Baja Mining Corp. In 2012, they became the Chief Financial Officer and VP Finance and Business Development for Minera Boleo, followed by their role as a Consultant for Rowland Wallenius Consulting from 2014 to 2016. Starting in 2016, they served as the CFO and Corporate Secretary for Eastern Platinum Limited, focusing on corporate and site reporting and development. In 2019, they became a Director at PLANTIFY FOODS, INC., an Israeli food tech company. Currently, Rowland is the CFO of Conuma Resources, a metallurgical coal producer in British Columbia that is committed to making positive contributions to communities.

Rowland Wallenius completed their education in a chronological order. From 1988 to 1993, they attended Simon Fraser University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Afterward, from 1993 to 1996, Rowland pursued further education in accounting, earning a Chartered Accountant (CA) designation from the Canadian institution. In addition to their formal education, Rowland Wallenius also holds the professional certification of CPA, CA, awarded by the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia.
