Mahesh Japkar

Mahesh Japkar currently serves as an Engineering Manager at Convera, leading teams involved in the Reimagination Program since May 2023. Previously, Mahesh held positions such as Principal Engineer at Qualys, focusing on container security, and Engineering Lead at JIFFY.ai, where contributions were made to a storage component integrating various storage providers. Earlier experience includes significant roles at ShiftRight and Viu, where Mahesh tackled complex challenges in security intelligence and optimized content search services, respectively. With a solid foundation in software engineering gained through roles at organizations like Cisco Systems and National Informatics Center, Mahesh has developed expertise in areas such as microservices, distributed systems, and e-governance applications. Mahesh obtained a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from COEP Technological University in 2008.
