Dov Gertz

Dov Gertz is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Converge Bio since July 2023. Prior to this role, Dov served as an Entrepreneur In Residence at The Garage from May 2022 to April 2023. Dov has a strong academic background, having co-authored a scientific paper with Nobel Prize winner Professor Jennifer Doudna during a Bioinformatics Master's research program at Tel Aviv University, where Dov developed machine learning models leading to a discovery in the CRISPR field. Earlier experience includes roles as a Search Language Specialist at Google from April 2018 to October 2019 and as an Intelligence Officer in Israeli Military Intelligence from September 2010 to May 2016. Dov holds an MSc in Computer Science and Biology - Bioinformatics from Tel Aviv University, completed in 2021.
