Dr. Bruce Hopler

Dr. Bruce Hopler has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Dr. Bruce started their career as the Founding Pastor at Cornerstone Community Church in 1993 and held this role until 2011. After that, they served as the Spiritual Formation Director and Adjunct Professor at Bluefield College from 2011 to 2012. Dr. Bruce then moved on to become the Spiritual Formation Pastor at The Crossing Church of Las Vegas from 2012 to 2015. In 2014, Dr. Hopler founded their own consulting and coaching company called Doc Hop Consulting and Coaching. Dr. Bruce is currently working at Converge Worldwide since 2015 where they serve as the Vice President and has also held the role of Executive Church Strengthening.

Dr. Bruce Hopler's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Old Dominion University, which they obtained from 1984 to 1988. Dr. Bruce then pursued a Master's of Divinity degree with a focus on Biblical Languages at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, completing it from 1989 to 1993. Later, Dr. Hopler furthered their education at Fuller Theological Seminary, where they obtained a Doctor of Ministry degree in Spiritual Formation and Leadership from 2002 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Dr. Hopler obtained a certification as a StratOp Facilitator for Marketplace & Churches from The Patterson Center in May 2016.
