Ben Huntsman

Ben Huntsman has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Ben started their career as a Network/Systems Administrator at MGH Associates in 2004. Ben then worked as a Help Desk Technician at Concordia University Portland, where they provided technical support to staff and students. Ben joined JELD-WEN in 2006 and took on roles such as Help Desk Technician, Storage Systems Manager, and Technology Group Team Lead. At JELD-WEN, they were responsible for managing storage systems, designing and maintaining VMware vSphere environment, and providing front-line technical support.

In 2014, Ben joined Nordisk Systems, Inc., initially as a Senior Solutions Architect and later as an Engineering Services Manager. In their roles, they focused on building customer relationships, overseeing service delivery, and designing and implementing IT systems. Ben specialized in storage solutions, UNIX, VMware, and IBM technologies.

From 2018 to 2019, Ben worked at Legacy Health as a Principal Engineer, where they applied Information Technology to improve patient care, with a primary focus on storage information systems.

In 2019, Ben joined Converge Technology Solutions Corp. as a Senior Solutions Architect. Ben'sresponsibilities include solving business problems through technology and service solutions and establishing relationships with customers across different market segments. Ben has experience with various platforms, infrastructure technology, and solution delivery methods.

Throughout their career, Ben has demonstrated a passion for learning new platforms and technologies, and they strive to provide affordable and high-quality solutions for their customers.

Ben Huntsman completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General at Concordia University-Portland from 2002 to 2005. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications in various fields such as IBM Certified Specialist, Cisco Certified Specialist, VMware Certified Professional, Linux on IBM Power Systems, Cisco Meraki Networking Associate, Nutanix Platform Professional, Nutanix Platform Sales Engineer, Nutanix Platform Sales Rep, Cisco Unified Computing Technology Design Specialist, NetApp Certified Data Management Administrator, VMware Operations Professional, Zerto Certified Professional, IBM Certified Specialist in Enterprise Technical Support, IBM Certified Specialist in Midrange Storage Technical Support, and IBM Certified Specialist in Storwize V7000 Technical Solutions. These certifications were obtained between 2014 and 2019.
