Bonnie Melanson

Bonnie Melanson has a diverse work history that spans over several years. Bonnie began their career as a Junior Programmer at C M Almy in 1983 and then moved on to become a Systems Administrator at Irving Tanning Company in 1986. In 2000, they joined Maine State Retirement as an Oracle Database Administrator. Bonnie then transitioned to Bangor Savings Bank in 2006, where they held various roles including AVP - Application Development and Support Manager, AVP - Principal Database Administrator - Business Intelligence Team Lead, and Vice President - Principal Database Administrator for Business Intelligence. During their time at Bangor Savings Bank, they focused on maintaining the performance and availability of the bank's BI databases, while also mentoring and leading the BI staff. In 2018, Bonnie became a self-employed independent contractor for IT and BI. Bonnie later joined Skills, Inc in 2022 as a Member of the Board of Directors. Currently, Bonnie is working at Converge Technology Solutions Corp. as a Senior Analytics Consultant and Senior Analytics Architect.

Bonnie Melanson attended Thomas College from 1983 to 1986, focusing on the field of study in CIS. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Maine Central Institute, though the specific dates are unknown.
