Convergence Blended Finance
Ayesha Bery is an experienced finance and project management professional with a strong background in blended finance and global development. Currently serving as Manager at Convergence Blended Finance since August 2018, Ayesha has progressed through various roles, contributing to increasing private sector investments in developing countries. Previous engagements include Project Consultant at Grand Challenges Canada, where emphasis was placed on supporting innovators in low- and middle-income countries. Ayesha also held positions as Research Analyst at Convergence – Blending Global Finance, Research Intern at Cenfri, and Compliance Analyst at the G7 Research Group, showcasing a diverse range of skills in research, compliance, and community engagement. Ayesha's academic credentials include a Master of Global Affairs from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in International Development and Psychology from McGill University. Convergence Blended Finance
Convergence is the global network for blended finance. They generate blended finance data, intelligence, and deal flow to increase private sector investment in developing countries. Their global membership includes public, private, and philanthropic investors as well as sponsors of transactions and funds. They offer this community a curated, onlineplatform to connect with each other on blended finance transactions in progress, as well as exclusive access to tailored training and original knowledge products such as case studies and reports. To accelerate advances in the field, Convergence also provides grants for the design of vehicles that could attract private capital to global development at scale.
