Convergence is a social innovation studio that designs interactive experiences -- workshops, facilitated intensives, and collaboration architecture -- for teams and organizations navigating growth, change, or cross-boundary collaboration.

We help groups move from friction to flow.

Research shows that most collaboration problems are misdiagnosed. Teams assume the issue is communication when it's actually trust. Organizations reorganize when what they need is clarity. Coalitions push for consensus when they haven't built enough shared context to make consensus meaningful, or realize they are really looking for consent.

We start by researching the group, their history, and their dreams for the future -- then design an experience that moves the group through the friction and into flow.

We guide groups through our in-house Convergent Cycle:
∙ Submerge (understand context and build safety)
∙ Diverge (open up possibilities through play and creative interaction)
∙ Emerge (surface patterns and shared truths)
∙ Converge (align, decide, and leave with clear next steps).

We work with:
→ Growing teams that need to find their rhythm before bad habits set in
→ Organizations navigating transition or building capacity across the team
→ Coalitions, networks, and communities building trust and structure across boundaries

Our methods blend Group Genius, Liberating Structures, Appreciative Inquiry, human-centered design, systems thinking, and our own Convergent Facilitation methodology -- grounded in research, but delivered through energizing, memorable social experiences.

Based in the Monterey Bay and SF Bay Area. Available remotely nationwide.
