Tom Roe

Tom Roe has over 20 years of work experience in the multimedia industry. Tom started their career in 1995 as a 3D Artist at Virtus Entertainment, Inc. where they developed a series of conceptual sketches, layouts, designs, and animations for a Tom Clancy game concept. In 1996, they were the Art Director at Arckosian Entertainment, where they supervised and directed a creative team and coordinated the game development process between the programming and art staff. From 1997 to 2000, they were a Web Designer, Art Director, Video Editor, and Photographer at New Life Industries, responsible for developing and managing several ecommerce sites. From 2000 to 2011, they were a Media Production Manager, Web Developer, and Presentation Graphics Artist at John Knox Village of Florida, Inc. where they managed the media production, web development, and designed and operated hundreds of presentations in PowerPoint. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Creative Director at Convergence of 4 Dimensions LLC, creating design documentation, story and character development, and descriptions for all of the template structure of the universe. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Technical Writer and Product Evangelist at Gladinet, creating tutorials and promotional videos. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Multimedia Producer at TECHSOFT, Inc., doing 3D modeling, animation, graphic design, and video production for Navy Dive School and EOD Learning Environments. Tom is currently working at SAIC as a Systems Engineer, Technical Writer, and Analyst, developing media for FEMA/DHS NIMS STEP and IPAWS programs.

Tom Roe attended Laurel County from 1980 to 1982. Tom then attended the Community College of the Air Force from 1982 to 1992, studying Aircraft Armaments Systems, Avionics - Photo-Sensors. In 1985 and 1986, they attended Sullivan University, studying Computer Science. Finally, they attended the University of Louisville from 1994 to 1996, studying Computer Science.
