Alex Surratt

Alex Surratt is a Rotational Analyst on the Analytics team at Convergent Energy and Power since August 2023, contributing to various modeling and project efforts. Prior experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant in the Math Department at Yale University, grading assignments and creating grading rubrics for large undergraduate calculus classes. Alex also worked as a Student Tour Guide for Yale University's STEM Department Admissions, leading tours and online Q&A sessions for prospective students. As a Summer Development Associate at EDP Renewables, support was provided for the development of utility-scale renewable energy projects in the western United States. Additionally, Alex served as a Research Assistant at Yale University Medical School, developing engineering solutions for biomedical research involving insulin delivery. Academic qualifications consist of a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Economics and Mechanical Engineering from Yale University.
