Mathias Vångö

Mathias Vångö has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Mathias started their career as a Summer Intern at Tetra Pak in 2008 and continued to work with the company in the same capacity for several years. In 2013, they also completed a Summer Internship at Teknovolvera. In 2015, Mathias began working as a Master Thesis Student at The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, LTH, specializing in Fluid Mechanics. Concurrently, they also joined Johannes Kepler University as a PHD Student in the Department of Particulate Flow Modelling. After completing their academic roles, Mathias joined Convergent Science in 2019 as a Research Engineer. Mathias then progressed to the position of Senior Research Engineer before eventually becoming a Principal Engineer. Their tenure at Convergent Science is ongoing as of June 2022.

Mathias Vångö completed their education history with a PhD in Engineering Sciences from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz, which they obtained between 2015 and 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Engineering from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, graduating between 2010 and 2015, with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering. Their educational journey began at Polhemskolan, where they pursued a Technology Programme from 2007 to 2010.
