Tejas Patel, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience starting from 2014 to 2023. Tejas worked as a Research Engineer at Convergent Science from 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Michigan State University, where they developed a computational framework for simulating cryo-balloon ablation for pulmonary vein isolation and worked as a TA for computer-aided design of structures. Tejas also worked as a Project Engineer at Schaeffler, where they implemented Kaizen and improved logistics in the manufacturing department. Before that, they worked as a CFD Researcher at Nirma University, where they developed a multiphase flow algorithm. Tejas also served as a Lead Engineer for the wheel assembly and braking team at SAE Baja Nirma University. Additionally, Tejas had an engineering intern experience at Larsen & Toubro Limited.
Tejas Patel, Ph.D., pursued their education in Mechanical Engineering. Tejas first attended Nirma University in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, from 2013 to 2017. There, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree, with a minor specialization in Design Engineering.
Tejas then went on to pursue a higher degree, enrolling at Michigan State University in 2018. Tejas is currently in the process of completing their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering, which is expected to be awarded in 2023.
