Peter Thomas

Peter Thomas is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and education across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Director of FORWARD at RMIT University, Peter focuses on future skills and workforce transformation. In addition, Peter holds pivotal roles as Board President and Chair of the CDI Foundation and as a Trustee with Professors Without Borders, where efforts are directed towards expanding access to higher education in developing countries. Peter also contributes as Academic Director at Kimekai Schools Academy and serves as Overseas Strategic Advisor for QV Systems in the APAC market. As Global Education Strategist for the Conversation Design Institute, Peter is instrumental in developing educational products related to conversational AI. Peter's career includes founding and leading THEORICA, as well as a long-standing presence in academia as Dean for International Projects at Beijing Normal University. With a PhD concentrated on user experience and human-computer interaction, along with degrees from the University of Cambridge and York St. John University, Peter is a respected authority in education, technology, and design.
