Eric Filipek

Since 2000, Eric has led Kennet’s investment efforts in vertical software and enterprise Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business models. Eric is also a board member of KEMP Technologies, Recommind and Schoolwires. He managed and successfully exited systems management software company NetPro (acquired by Quest Software), compliance software company Consul Risk Management (acquired by IBM) and storage chip vendor Aarohi (acquired by Emulex). Before joining Kennet, Eric was a principal in Broadview’s New York office where he worked on about 50 M&A transactions involving communications equipment, systems management and enterprise software companies. Prior to joining Broadview in 1994, Eric worked as a product-marketing engineer at Intel Corporation. He has a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
