Jas Ottal currently serves as the Head of Insurance Risk at Convex Insurance, a position held since January 2020. Previously, Jas worked at Aviva for nearly a decade as both an M&A Actuary and a GI Actuary within the Global GI Actuarial Function. Earlier in the career, Jas was an Actuarial Analyst at Willis Towers Watson, specializing in general insurance consulting, and an Investment Banking Analyst at Merrill Lynch. Jas is a Qualified Fellow (FIA) from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and holds a Master of Engineering degree in Software Engineering from Imperial College London, completed in 2005.
