Maria Isora Garcia is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in compliance and investigative roles within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as a Senior Compliance Auditor at Convey Health Solutions since November 2019, Maria conducts monthly internal audits of Medicare Part D grievances, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines. Prior to this, Maria held positions such as Senior Investigator at AMTIS, Inc., focusing on Fraud Waste and Abuse investigations, and Health Care Fraud Investigator at SafeGuard Services, LLC, where responsibilities included investigating Medicare Trust Fund abuse. Additionally, Maria has a solid background in healthcare fraud analysis from earlier roles with the State of Florida Office of the Attorney General and the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration. Maria holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University, as well as an Associate’s degree in Psychology from Miami Dade College.
