Most firms already run an open banking check. That evidences source of funds: where the money in the account came from recently, UK accounts only. Source of wealth is a different obligation, how the wealth was built up over time, and it is rarely one source: gifts, inheritance, decades of savings, investments, overseas money, most of it beyond open banking's reach. That gap is where the manual work lives, and it is the gap Conveyancer.com closes.

It runs the whole evidence conversation with the client and chases every source to a clean answer, then hands the firm one file: each source evidenced and linked, the gaps flagged, a written rationale an auditor could pick up in 5 years and still agree with. A fee-earner or MLRO reviews it and signs. The firm keeps the decision; the service takes the chasing.

The AML load on every file keeps climbing, and the usual answer is more fee-earners. Moving the evidence-gathering off the firm gives that capacity back: the same team clears more matters, and the hard files stop running to exchange.
