Aghzam Soopee

Aghzam Soopee has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Aghzam started their career at Haldex as an Electronics Engineer, where they gained experience in electronics circuit design, system testing, and embedded software prototyping. After that, Aghzam joined Accenture in 2011, initially supporting infrastructure operations as a PMO support. Aghzam then transitioned to various roles within Accenture, including Test Analyst in Data Analytics for the energy sector, iOS/Android Test Engineer for a set-up box app, and eventually becoming a Lead Test Engineer. As a Lead Test Engineer, Aghzam demonstrated expertise in testing iOS/tvOS applications, streaming technology, and catch-up TV. Aghzam strategically planned and prioritized QA deliverables, coordinated with third parties for integration testing, and implemented test automation strategies using XCUITest in Swift. Aghzam also managed regression test cycles and defects using tools such as Zephyr and JIRA, and utilized data analytics to monitor app performance and impact business KPIs. In addition, they coached junior and mid-level team members. Currently, Aghzam is working at Conviva as a Lead Test Engineer starting in 2021.

Aghzam Soopee completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Birmingham from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Mauritius from 2006 to 2007. In addition, Aghzam has a certification in Requirements Engineering from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
