Alessandro Casuccio

Alessandro Casuccio has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Alessandro started their career as an International Business Developer at Rocket Internet GmbH, where they played a role in building and accelerating online ventures worldwide. Alessandro then moved on to work at Namshi, a Rocket Internet portfolio venture in the Middle East, where they held positions such as Head of Business Intelligence and BI Team Lead. After that, Alessandro worked at PropSpace CRM | SaaS Real Estate Software as the Head of Business Intelligence & Analytics. Alessandro also served as the Head of BI & Analytics for JRD Group | PropSpace/RealSpace & JustProperty.com. Alessandro has also worked as an Advisor for RealSpace Inc. and The Gritti Fund. Additionally, they have been involved in mentoring and volunteering roles, such as being a Business Mentor for Dubai Startup Weekend and a Mentor in the Seedstars Growth bootcamp at Misk Foundation. Currently, Alessandro is the Managing Director at convz - Business Intelligence as a Service, where they lead a team in providing advanced analytics for the retail, banking, and ecommerce industry.

Alessandro Casuccio completed their MSc in Finance from Università Bocconi from 2009-2011. Prior to that, they were an exchange student at American University in Dubai in the fall of 2008, studying business. Alessandro also earned a BIEM degree in International Economics and Management from Università Bocconi from 2006-2009. In 2008, they took summer courses in business at Simon Fraser University. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Python for Everybody Specialization from Coursera in 2015, Computing for Data Analysis from Coursera in 2013, and a Certificate in Advanced English from Cambridge University Press in 2012.
