Hurratul Maleka Taj

Hurratul Maleka Taj has had a varied and successful career. Hurratul Maleka began their professional journey in 2011 when they interned at RSMML. In 2013, they interned at both IndusInd Bank and Vedanta Resources Plc. In 2014, they co-founded Territory Of Fashion. In 2016, they founded Chics Connect (EWON), a global community of 25,000+ women spread across India, UAE, Turkey, Jamaica and USA. From 2018-2022, they held various roles including Founder & CEO of Casa Rozen, a fashion jewelry e-commerce business, Managing Director of Empowering Billions, and City Champion of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, where they planned and implemented mentorship programs with women entrepreneurs. In 2021, they interned at H2 Ventures. Currently, they are a Consultant for Operations at Cooey Health.

Hurratul Maleka Taj's education history includes completing a High School degree from St. Mary's Sr. Sec. School in 2007, followed by a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) in 2012, and a Master of Business Administration from the same institute in 2014. In 2020, they completed an online program in Venture Capital from RWTH Aachen University, and is currently enrolled in an online Corporate Finance program from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
