Alicia Turner has extensive experience in the field of orthotics, currently serving as an Orthotist at Cook Children's Home Health since March 2016. Alicia completed an Orthotic Residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center from January to December 2015 and participated in the Karl Storz Leadership Development Program from February 2012 to February 2013, where training included Six Sigma methodologies and mentoring high school students. Prior roles include providing mentorship as a Summer Residential Advisor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and consulting for the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, developing an evaluation tool for water utilities. Alicia holds a Master’s degree in Prosthetics-Orthotics from UT Southwestern Medical Center and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
