Mike Simmons

President, Cook Children's Home Health at Cook Children's Medical Center

Mike Simmons is the current President of Cook Children's Home Health at Cook Children's Medical Center. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer for Cook Children's Home Health from March 2004 to January 2007. Mike also worked as the Homecare-Finance for Beverly Enterprises from January 1999 to December 2004. Simmons also has experience in the military, having served in the Arkansas Army National Guard from January 1992 to December 2004 as a Captain and retiring from the position. Mike also served in the United States Marine Corps from January 1984 to December 1992 as a Sergeant.

Mike Simmons has a Master Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Arkansas State University-Fort Smith, and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Westark Community College.

Mike Simmons works with Matthew Dzurik - President, Cook Children's Physician Network, Bobby Feather - SVP, Public Policy, and Cheryl Petersen - VP & Chief Nursing Officer. Their manager is Rick W. Merrill, President & CEO.
