Cook Children's Medical Center
Vida Amin serves as the Medical Director and Advisor for Neighborhood Clinics and Population Health at Cook Children's Health Care System since November 2010, overseeing seven community-based clinics and implementing quality initiatives and value-based projects. Previous roles include Pediatric Hospitalist positions at MEDNAX and Children's Hospital Los Angeles, where responsibilities encompassed providing inpatient pediatric care and educating medical residents and students. Additionally, Vida served as a Pediatric Hospitalist at Cook Children's Health Care System and as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at The UT Southwestern Medical Center. Educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, a Pediatric Residency, and a Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship from Northwestern University.
