Kera Beskin

Kera Beskin, MPH, MBA, currently serves as the Senior Manager of Policy and Innovation at Cook County Health, a position held since February 2024. Prior to this role, Kera spent over five years at the American Academy of Pediatrics, where responsibilities included managing maternal and child health initiatives, overseeing educational activities, and collaborating with partner organizations. Kera has substantial experience in program management, having previously handled CDC grants focused on breastfeeding and HPV vaccination. Early career roles included research and teaching positions, such as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Community Health Educator with the Peace Corps. Kera holds a Master of Public Health and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois Chicago, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Social Work from Concordia College.
