Mikayla Johnson

Mikayla Johnson is a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Cook County Health since December 2021 and previously served as the COVID-19 Vaccine Lead at Walgreens from December 2020 to September 2023, where responsibilities included organizing and leading pharmacy staff for patient immunizations in Chicago. Mikayla completed a PGY2 HIV/ID residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago from July 2020 to June 2021 and held various roles including a PGY1 residency at Howard University Hospital and internships at Walgreens and Eli Lilly and Company. Education was attained at Xavier University of Louisiana, culminating in a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree in 2019.
