David Beck is a legal professional currently serving as an Assistant State Attorney at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office since August 2023, following a year-long role as a Law Clerk focused on post-conviction integrity. Previous experience includes a Summer Law Clerk position at the Orleans Parish District Attorney's Office, where David engaged in various legal writing and organizational tasks. Early career roles include serving as the Head Buyer and Manager for Full Sun Gifts and as a Community Outreach Coordinator for Journey Jonesboro. David's educational background includes a Doctor of Law (JD) from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, as well as a Master of Arts in American Literature and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Arkansas State University.
