Jordyn Kass is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as an Assistant State’s Attorney at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office since February 2025. Prior experience includes working as an Associate Attorney at BatesCarey LLP and a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Anna H. Demacopoulos in the Circuit Court of Cook County. Jordyn’s background also encompasses roles such as a FOIA Volunteer at U.S. Right to Know and a Summer Law Clerk at Earthjustice. A legal extern at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, experience involved contributing to Clean Water Act cases and conducting extensive legal research. Jordyn holds a Doctor of Law degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and has studied at The George Washington University Law School, in addition to earning a degree in Communications from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
