Nargiz I. currently serves as a Law Clerk at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office since January 2023. Nargiz holds the position of Head of the Division in the Labour Policy Department at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a role maintained since August 2018. Previously, Nargiz was the Head of the division of Management of international projects at the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan from February 2013 to August 2018, overseeing significant projects such as the Southern Gas Corridor and Azergold. Nargiz's legal experience includes roles as a Lawyer at Elevate Energy Services and DemirBank. Nargiz's educational background includes a Master of Laws (LLM) in American/U.S. Law from Chicago-Kent College of Law, and a Master's degree in Commercial Law and a Bachelor's degree in International Law from Baku State University.
