Andrew Chlup

Andrew Chlup is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in the education sector, currently serving as the Sr. Director of IT at Cook Inlet Tribal Council, Inc. since January 2021. Prior to this role, Andrew was the Sr. Director of IT Services for the Anchorage School District from August 2013 to January 2021, where leadership was provided to a team of over 40 technical and instructional staff to enhance educational technologies and practices. Earlier positions include Director of Technology for the Vail Unified School District, overseeing web services and digital platforms, and Director of Beyond Textbooks, where strategic coordination was executed between various educational stakeholders. Andrew's career began with teaching roles in Alaska and Arizona, where innovative technology programs were piloted. Andrew holds a Master’s degree in Educational Technology from Northern Arizona University.
