Analytical Methods Scientist at Cook MyoSite

Chloe Wood has over 20 years of work experience in the scientific field. Chloe started their career at HVL Inc as a QC Associate from August 1999 to February 2001. Chloe then worked at The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center as a Research Associate from February 2000 to October 2001. Chloe joined the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in October 2001 as a Senior Research Associate, where they contributed to the development of malaria vaccines and was involved in the production of passive vaccines against malaria using humanized monoclonal antibodies. Chloe also developed and qualified assays for clinical trial data testing. In 2015, Chloe joined Wellstat Diagnostics as a Scientist, where they created bioassay based in-vitro diagnostics for point of care testing, developed and validated potential products, and created K submission strategies. Chloe is currently working at Cook MyoSite as an Analytical Methods Scientist, starting in June 2016.

Chloe Wood has a strong educational background with a focus on both biotechnology and business. From 2004 to 2007, they attended The Johns Hopkins University where they pursued a Masters of Biotechnology. Chloe also simultaneously pursued a Masters of Business Administration at The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School during the same period. Prior to their time at Johns Hopkins, from 1995 to 1999, Chloe Wood attended The University of Pittsburgh and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences.
