David Holzer's work experience spans over several years in various roles in the healthcare industry.
David started their career in 2002 at Central Blood Bank as a Laboratory Technician I, where they were involved in the manufacture, labeling, and testing of blood and blood components. David later advanced to the role of Laboratory Technician III, where they performed quality control and maintenance tasks in the laboratory.
In 2008, David joined The Institute for Transfusion Medicine as a Financial Services Representative, responsible for managing supplier invoices and accruals.
David returned to Central Blood Bank in 2011, this time as a Distribution Services Supervisor. In this role, they oversaw the inventory, logistics, and staffing of the blood product distribution department. David also handled customer communication and prepared performance appraisals for employees.
David's next position was as a Manufacturing Operations Manager at Central Blood Bank. In this role, they took charge of planning, staffing, and quality control processes related to product manufacturing, labeling, and distribution. David ensured compliance with standard operating procedures, regulatory agencies, and safety guidelines.
David'smost recent role, beginning in 2018, is with Cook MyoSite as a Quality Assurance Facilities, Systems, and Equipment Specialist. David later became the Quality Assurance Operations Manager. In these positions, they oversee quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance and efficient operations.
Throughout their career, David has demonstrated a strong commitment to quality control, operations management, and customer service in the healthcare industry.
David Holzer attended Penn State University from 1995 to 2000. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science.
