Msit Christy Johnson

Christy Johnson, MSIT has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Christy currently serves as the Director of IT Program Delivery and Solutions at Cook Systems, Inc. Their responsibilities include overseeing the successful execution of IT programs within the company.

Prior to their current position, Christy worked at Terminix for six years, where they held various roles. As the Director of IT Program Portfolio, they managed and executed IT infrastructure engineering, information security, and business projects. Christy also led the IT PMO processes and worked closely with department and business executives to define requirements, budgets, and goals. Additionally, they served as the Manager of IT PMO, supervising the PMO and project management staff and ensuring that department programs and projects met organizational objectives.

Before joining Terminix, Christy was employed at All Covered as a Solutions Architect and Senior Project Manager. In these roles, they developed innovative technical solutions, managed technology projects, and built strategic technology business plans for clients.

Christy kickstarted their career at Counseling Associates, Inc., where they served as the Manager of Information Technology. Christy oversaw the daily IT operations of the company. Prior to that, they worked as an Information Technology Administrator, gaining valuable experience in IT administration.

With their extensive experience in program management, IT infrastructure, project execution, and strategic planning, Christy Johnson has a solid foundation to excel in their current role and contribute to the success of Cook Systems, Inc.

Christy Johnson, MSIT, holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Information Technology from Arkansas Tech University. Before pursuing their master's degree, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.

In addition to their formal education, Christy also obtained several certifications. Christy is a Certified SAFe® 5 Release Train Engineer, Certified SAFe® 4.6 Product Owner/Product Manager, Certified SAFe® 4.6 Scrum Master, Certified SAFe® 4.5 Agilist, and Certified SAFe® 4.0 Agilist, all from Scaled Agile, Inc. Christy is also a Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance. Christy holds a VMware Sales Professional 5 (VSP 5) certification from VMware and a CompTIA A+ certification from CompTIA. Christy obtained these certifications between the years 2000 and 2020, with the most recent being in May 2020.
