Robert Gaudet has extensive experience in microbiology within the aquaculture industry, currently serving as a Microbiologist at Cooke Aquaculture in Saint George, New Brunswick since February 2003. In this role, Robert oversees the sanitation program, utilizing 3M Petrifilm technology to assess total plate counts, coliforms, E. coli, Staphylococcus, and Listeria across various facilities. Prior to this position, Robert worked as a Lab Tech at Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries from March 1994 to August 2000, where responsibilities included microbial identification of salmonid pathogens through various laboratory techniques. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from the University of New Brunswick, obtained between 1988 and 1993.
