David E. Phillips has had a diverse work experience in the medical field. David E. started their career in 1979 as a Hospital Corpsman and FMF - Operating Room Technologist in the United States Navy. After their military service, they worked as a Certified Surgical Technologist at VASSAR BROTHERS HOSPITAL. David E. then transitioned into tissue coordination roles at the Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation and the New York Organ Donor Network. In 1999, they joined Orange Regional Medical Center as a Nurse Manager of Surgical Services, where they had responsibilities ranging from overseeing daily operations and staffing to negotiating vendor agreements and budget forecasting. Currently, they work as the Director of Surgical Services at Cookeville Regional Medical Center, where they are responsible for operational leadership and strategy execution in peri-operative services.
David E. Phillips RN, BHCA completed their Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from Dutchess Community College in 1994. David E. then pursued further education and earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration and Finance (BSHS) from Trident University International between 2016 and 2018.
