Trish Huggins has a work experience spanning over several years. Trish worked as the Work-Based Learning Coordinator at Orange-Ulster BOCES, leading the Practical Nurse Program for 8 years before stepping down from their team leader position in September 2017. Prior to that, they served as the Administrative Director of Nursing at Catskill Regional Medical Center, where they were responsible for staff management, addressing patient and visitor concerns, and overseeing patient flow within the facility.

Trish Huggins has a diverse education history. From 1984 to 1988, they attended SUNY Orange and earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Trish continued their education at Excelsior University from 2005 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in the same field of study. In 2012 and 2013, Trish pursued a Master of Science in Education (M.S.E.D.) degree at the State University of New York at Oswego. Additionally, they obtained certification as a BLS & Heart Saver Instructor from the American Heart Association in 2002.
