Siddharth Potbhare

Siddharth Potbhare has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Siddharth is currently the Co-Founder & CEO of Untethered Labs Inc., where they are leading the efforts for the rapid commercialization of their GateKeeper technology. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President at CoolCAD Electronics LLC, where they were a principal investigator on several research programs for technologies such as silicon carbide and cryogenic electronics. Siddharth also played a key role in raising more than $5M in R&D funding from government agencies. Siddharth has also served as a Board Member and CTO at SunFriend Corporation, leading the design efforts for their UV Monitor. Siddharth provided expertise to the CEO in negotiations with investors and distributors. Additionally, Siddharth worked as a Researcher at NIST from 2011 to 2013, and as a Research Associate and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, College Park. Siddharth was also a Guest Researcher at NIST in 2007.

Siddharth Potbhare completed their education with a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electronics from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Siddharth then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Microelectronics from the University of Maryland, where they studied from 2002 to 2005. Later, they continued their education at the University of Maryland and obtained a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Semiconductor Devices, which they completed between 2005 and 2008.
