Kaveh Asalian

Kaveh Asalian has a strong work experience history, with their most recent role as a Principal Engineer at Cooler Screens Inc. starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a VP of Engineering at Eta Vision, where they innovated new solutions and products in software development, infrastructure, security, and networking. Kaveh also led and inspired the Engineering and Software development teams, and was involved in IOT integration between hardware and software.

Before their time at Eta Vision, Kaveh served as a Senior Architect (Independent Consultant) at Xcel Energy, where they were responsible for end-to-end architecture for various projects, including an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (J2EE IOT project) and the GIS Transmission program. Kaveh also designed and implemented facility rating and equipment rating algorithms, resulting in significant cost savings for the business.

Prior to Xcel Energy, Kaveh worked as a Senior Project Manager at Level 3 Communications, where they led teams and managed projects related to launching new IP Trunk Based and Voice over IP products. Kaveh also provided architectural guidance and worked on enhancing user processes and IT systems.

Additionally, Kaveh has experience working as a Software Architect at Level3 Communications and as a Software Engineer at Syndesis.

Kaveh Asalian completed a B.Sc. in Chemistry at York University from 1989 to 1994. Kaveh then pursued another B.Sc. in Computer Science at the same university from 1995 to 1998.
