Emma Aldana is an experienced language coach and medical interpreter coordinator with a strong background in architecture. Currently at Berkshire Language Management/Berkshire AHEC since August 2014, Emma provides language coaching and specialized training for new medical interpreters, focusing on standards of practice, code of ethics, medical terminology, and interpreter roles. Emma has also served as a medical interpreter coordinator at Cooley Dickinson Hospital since July 2009. With previous roles as an architect at various firms from 1997 to 2009, Emma developed design proposals, managed projects, and utilized software like AutoCAD for architectural documentation. Emma earned a degree in architecture from Universidad José María Vargas between 1991 and 1997.
