Jan Pleun Lens

Jan Pleun Lens has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jan Pleun started their career as a Senior Scientist at Wageningen University and Research Center. Jan Pleun then worked in various roles at SABIC Innovative Plastics, including Global Technology Manager and Technology Manager, where they managed teams and was responsible for new product development and improving manufacturing processes. Lens also worked as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, setting up supply chains and mentoring Green Belts. Jan Pleun'smost recent role was as the Executive Vice President of Research and New Business Development at Cooley Group. Prior to that, they held the position of VP Research and Applications at FRX Polymers, where they led a team and was a key member of the executive management team.

Jan Pleun Lens obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Twente, spanning from 1986 to 1991. Building upon this foundation, they pursued further education at the same institution and received a Ph.D. in Polymer Technology between 1992 and 1996.
