Daniel Goldberg

Daniel Goldberg is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. Currently serving as a Partner at Cooley LLP since July 2015, Daniel represents public and private companies as well as financial institutions, with particular expertise in "at-the-market" offerings, shelf-takedowns, and registered direct offerings. Previously, Daniel held the position of Partner at Reed Smith LLP from July 2011 to July 2015, where representation included public and private companies and investment banks. Daniel also served as a Partner at DLA Piper LLP (US) from May 2000 to July 2011, preparing major filings under the Securities Act and Exchange Act. Early in the career, Daniel was an Associate at Swidler Berlin Shereff Friedman, LLP, providing outside counsel to various companies and institutions. Daniel holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Yeshiva University's Sy Syms School of Business.
