Katherine Weisenreder

Katherine Weisenreder is an experienced professional in information governance and data privacy, currently serving as the Director of Information Governance and Data Privacy at Cooley LLP since September 2013. Katherine has held multiple roles within Cooley, including Associate Director and Firmwide Information Governance Compliance Manager, focusing on the development and management of policies and procedures for client and matter records. Prior experience includes managing national records operations at Williams Lea and serving as Records Manager at Foley & Lardner LLP, where responsibilities encompassed compliance with legal and ethical standards in records management. Katherine has also worked as a Records Manager at Colgate-Palmolive and served as a Librarian at Hempstead Public Library. Education includes a Master’s Certificate in Cybersecurity and Privacy Law from Drexel University (in progress), a Master of Library Science from Long Island University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Gettysburg College.
